Universal Music Group is the largest music corporation in the world. UMG also owns Universal Music Publishing Group, which is the second largest music publishing company in the world. Universal Music Group's global corporate headquarters are located in Santa Monica, California.
T-Coon's Restaurant was started by David Billeaud.; a 6th generation Billeaud from Broussard (whose French ancestors came here to Acadiana from France) who considers cooking an art. Prior to opening T-Coon's restaurant in 1993, David had no restaurant experience at all, but he grew up surrounded by cooking.
You'll notice that the word “Cajun” is not used in any of advertising. That's because T-Coon's see the word misused throughout the country. David has chosen the term Zydeco instead as it better represents the flavor of T-Coon's. Zydeco implies a mix of the Creole and Cajun influences that are exclusive to this area of Southern Louisiana. Travel just a few miles from Acadiana in any direction and you quickly lose the true Zydeco influence.
